BANGS – The first season of the Colton Buzzard head coaching era for Bangs official began at 12:01 a.m. Monday with the Dragons’ initial football practice of 2024.
“It’s super exciting,” Buzzard said during a break in practice. “The kids are fired up, the coaches are fired up and there’s a pretty good crowd out here for a midnight practice. It’s exciting in Bangs right now.”
As far as what the Dragons focused on during the initial practice, Buzzard said, “The first half of practice was offense and we worked on getting our snap count down, and various snap counts is a big deal in this (wing-T) offense, so we’re learning how to do that and our base plays first.”
Approximately 40 players were on hand for the first workout.
