The Brownwood High tennis team hosted the Brownwood Invitational tournament at the high school and Howard Payne University Thursday.
Among the highlights for the Lions and Lady Lions were Eric Smith placing second in boys singles; Wesley Goodrich and Trine Baugh finishing second in boys doubles; Blake Hutchins placing fourth in boys singles; Makenzie Williams finishing fourth in girls singles; and Ashlyn Bundick and Anna Daniel capturing the consolation championship in girls doubles.
The Lions and Lady Lions will be back in action March 28 at Gatesville.
