The Brownwood Lions and Lady Lions cruised to a 13-2 home victory over San Saba Thursday in non-district tennis action.
The Lady Lions dominated the action as San Saba brought only two boys to the match.
The girls swept all three doubles matches as wins were claimed by the No. 1 duo of Emma Delgado and Claire Meinecke (8-5 over Damaris Pahno and Minerva Vazquez), the No. 2 tandem of Maddy Goff and Ashlyn Bundick (8-1 over Libby Mays and Jazmin Davila) and the No. 3 unit of Anna Daniel and Lyric Shaw (8-1 over Evelyn Davila and Jessica Nguyen).
The Lady Lions were also vicorious in five of six singles matches, as triumphs belonged to No. 1 Delgado (8-2 over Patino), No. 3 Goff (8-4 over Vasquez), No. 4 Bundick (8-1 over Jazmin Davila), No. 5 Daniel (8-1 over Evelyn Davila) and No. 6 Shaw (8-0 over Nguyen).
In boys singles action, wins were earned by No. 1 Tyler Mitchell (8-1 over Jose Aguilera) and No. 2 Eric Smith (8-2 over Christian Morales).
Notching the mixed doubles win was Smith and Ihana Figueroa (8-3 over Patino and Aguilera).
In matches that did not count toward the standings, Bundick and Kris Koeppe collected a mixed doubles win (8-3 pver Mays and Morales), and Figueroa picked up an 8-1 singles victory in the girls draw.
Brownwood (7-3, 1-0) will resume District 6-4A action at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 when its hosts Lampasas.
