Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
Monday, November 19
*10:28am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, an inspection sticker was missing from a local auto dealership service center.
*11:18am-Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown male had interfered with the delivery of the complainant’s mail sometime in the month of October. The complainant wishes to pursue criminal charges if a suspect can be identified, the report states.
*11:45am-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Center Avenue regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine. According to the report, a coin operated washer and dryer were broken into.
*1:50pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding two runaway juveniles. According to the report, the complainant stated that their two foster children got on the bus for school that morning and did not show up for class.
*6:00pm-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the 100 block of Briarcrest Drive, just outside of Early, where a male subject was intoxicated and confrontational with neighbors. According to the report, the complainant stated that the male, identified as 44-year-old Johnny Baker of Early, had been drinking whiskey all day and had attempted to ride his horse to town to get more. When Baker rode next to the neighbors’ house where the dog was located, it barked causing the horse to throw Baker off, the report states. Baker became angry with the dog and he began chasing it while yelling and throwing rocks at it, the report states. The complainant called law enforcement for help because she was afraid Baker would get into a fight with the neighbors, the report states. Baker was arrested for public intoxication.
*6:46pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding a dog bite. According to the report, a juvenile male had been bitten by a neighbor’s dog through a chain link fence at a residence on Corrigan Street. The owner was not sure if the dog was up to date on its vaccinations so it was placed into quarantine for 10 days, according to the report. The juvenile sustained only scratches from the bite, which did not break the skin, the report states.
*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brown County Courthouse where a juvenile was being held by a Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy on a directive to apprehend for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone. According to the report, the female juvenile was transported to the Brownwood Police Department and then transported to the Juvenile Justice Center.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Brian Keith Allen for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug after information was presented that narcotics were going to be delivered at the courthouse. Allen was caught in the act of the delivery and arrested on the above charges, according to law enforcement officials.

*1:24am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Rhodes Road on a suspicious call. Dispatch advised officers that the caller said that “he had been smoking meth the last couple of days and sounded very confused, stating that there were a lot of different vehicles chasing him,” the report states. This call led to the arrest of 52-year-old Gary Don Daniel for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
