Overview:

We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical estimating and project management. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical projects and contribute to the success of our team.

Duties:

– Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for electrical projects
– Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work
– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
– Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
– Develop detailed proposals and bids for clients
– Monitor project costs throughout the process to ensure budget compliance

Skills:

– Proficiency in electrical estimating software such as McCormick
– Strong understanding of electrical management principles
– Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
– Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration
– Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and cost control
