Brownwood News – The Lowe’s Super Market in San Saba caught fire around 1:00 am Friday morning.  A photo shared on the San Saba Fire Rescue Facebook page showed heavy smoke coming from the grocery store.  We are told the store is the primary provider of food for the community though a Dollar General does carry some food supplies.  The cause of the fire was not known early Friday morning.  Social media posts by citizens of San Saba suggest heavy damage.  We will provide more official information as it becomes available.  (photo courtesy San Saba Fire & Rescue)
