The traveling exhibit “Move Over, Sir” from the Union Pacific Railroad Museum will be featured at the Lehnis Railroad Museum in Brownwood August 17th through September 15th!
Located across the street from the historic Brownwood Santa Fe Depot and Fred Harvey House, the Martin & Frances Lehnis Railroad Museum exhibits the railroad history of Brownwood, Central Texas, and the American Southwest. The Lehnis Railroad Museum also serves as the Brownwood Visitor Center.
Exhibits include a variety of railroad memorabilia and equipment, photos and stories of early railroads while vividly interpreting the importance of the railroad to this area and American life. Also on display are running model trains of every size. The Mini-Train operates every Saturday from 10 to 3, weather permitting. Both adults and children can ride, only $2 per person.
