The Art Center in downtown Brownwood will have their official Grand Re-Opening on August 5th, with a “First Thursday” reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. kicking off a photography-rich show featuring BAA 2020 Photographer of the Year Jim Blake, and 2021 Artist of the Year Craig Seger.
The Art Center was closed for repairs and renovations and is now ready to welcome the community back to enjoy art! The First Thursday reception is held every month and invites the community to view the work of a selected artist for that month’s gallery display. Light refreshments are served, and there is no admission charge.
The Art Center is located at 215 Fisk Avenue in historic Downtown Brownwood.
