Their works anchor and inspire my life, and are my treasures. I’m proud to carry on those traditions, and I’m always enthusiastic about learning more. The Fiber and Textile Arts group of the BAA has given me, and so many others, a chance to hone the basic skills passed to us through our mothers, our grandmothers, our great-grandmothers, and those before. And the BAA provides us with the encouragement and support to raise those skills to the realm of art.
