Funeral Services for Annette (Inglet) Milam, age 79, of Spring, Texas, formerly from Brownwood will be held at 2:00pm, May 19, 2011 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Williams officiating, interment to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Annette was born November 15, 1931 in Quitaque, Texas to Zeddie Van Buren Inglet and Lola Evelyn Owens Inglet. She married Andrew B. Milam on December 7, 1949 in Rising Star,Tx. Before marrying, Annette graduated from High School in May, Tx in 1949. She worked as a retail clerk at the Naval Air Base Exchange, Kingsville, Tx before retiring. She enjoyed bowling and led her team to tournaments in various Cities and States including Washington, DC.
She is survived by daughters, Janie Delice Eisenhauer of Brownwood, and Cynthia Ann Yarborough of Spring,Tx; a son, Richard Grant Milam of Burleson,Tx; eight grandchildren, Rusty Ellis of Magnolia, Tx., Amy Lea (Milam) Marshall of Denver, Co, Jennifer (Milam) Keys of Godley, Tx, Johnathan and Codie Eisenhauer of Brownwood, Chelsie, Grant and Holly Milam of Burleson, Tx ; four great-grandchildren, Ty Milam and Colt Keys of Godley, Tx, Madison Marshall of Denver, Co. and Hayden Eisenhauer, of Brownwood, two brothers, Alton Mack Inglet of Brownwood, and Donald Lee Inglet of Lake Brownwood; five sisters, Mary Juanita Crisp of San Angelo, Wilma Jean Ferreira of Petaluma,Ca., Wanda Faye Watts of McCamey, Betty Sue Barnes of Rising Star, and Patricia Ann Waddle of Brownwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zeddie VanBuren and Lola Evelyn (Owens) Inglet of Rising Star, Tx, husband, Andrew Benson Milam, Sr. of Brownwood, Tx and a son, Andrew B, Milam Jr., 2 sisters, Lois Evelyn (Inglet/Holt) Childers of Cisco, and Earlene Mabel Inglet of Brownwood, 1 brother, Bobby Joe Inglet, of Rising Star, Tx.
