Monday Brownwood High School hosted the Bluebonnet Invitational at the Brownwood Country Club and one of the Lady Lions Teams was victorious winning the tournament.
Brownwood I shot 382 to win first place in the tournament. Merkel came in second with a team score of 406. A tie for third between Baird and Brady, both shooting 418, was broken when Brady won the tie with their fifth man score.
Medalists were Alex Neal from Baird firing an 87 while Jacy Lovelace from Merkel shot 90 to get 2nd. Other schools that attended but did not have teams were Bangs, Burnet, and Stephenville.
Lady Lions have one more tournament after spring break before starting District competition.
