Marble Falls police and Burnett County deputies had to chase down a Brownwood man on Thursday afternoon after attempting to serve him with two warrants.
Highlandernews.com is reporting that as officers attempted to serve the warrant to 27-year-old Jerry Elizondo of Brownwood, he jumped off a 2nd story balcony and ran away.
Police and deputies found him again after a two to three hour search in a nearby apartment. He was arrested and charged with evading arrest.
Elizondo was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender in Marble Falls and failure to appear in court on a DWI charge in Brownwood.
He is currently being held in Burnet County Jail.
