Maxine Behrens Naylor, 93 (Brady)

Maxine Behrens Naylor, 93 of Brady, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in Smithville, Texas.

Due to current guidelines regarding gatherings from the State of Texas, the CDC and local officials, the following will apply for services and visitations until further notice.

Graveside Services will be private for Maxine Behrens Naylor.  Leatherwood Memorial Chapels of Brady is in charge of arrangements.

Maxine will lie in state for public viewing Monday, April 13, 2020  from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Current social distancing recommendations will be observed
and the number of visitors will be limited to 10 any given time.

She was born August 1, 1926 in Brady to J.W. Behrens and Myrle (Fleming) Behrens.
She married Reverend Wayne L. Naylor on August 23, 1946 in Brownwood. She taught school in Montana and Texas, retiring from the Lohn ISD.

Survivors
Sons – Barry Naylor and wife Marlene of Missoula, Montana; Dale Naylor of Billings, Montana; Garry Naylor of Austin, Texas.
Daughter – Shelly Naylor of Smithville, Texas
7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Rev. Wayne Naylor, son Weslie Naylor, brother Earl Behrens and sisters Pauline Chambers, Anna Joyce Williams and Frances Canon.
