Brownwood News (contributed) – During TexasBank’s annual employee meeting, Greg Dodds, President and CEO of TexasBank, announced several promotions as well as the addition of a new officer to the TexasBank team. Those changes included the following:
Lisa Clawson has been promoted to Vice President, Financial Accounting. Lisa started with TexasBank in 2002 in the accounting department. She was promoted to Financial Accounting Officer in 2007 and then to Assistant Vice President in 2015.
Mattie Byler has been promoted to Branch Manager-Bank Officer at the TexasBank Bangs Branch. She started at TexasBank in 2007 as a teller and then rejoined as a Mortgage Processor in 2016 after a hiatus away from the area. Mattie moved to the Bangs branch in 2018.
Tamara Massey is TexasBank’s new Deposit Operations Officer. Tamara started with TexasBank in 2014 as an Electronic Payments Specialist and has shown that she is a true team player. She is now charged with the development and oversight of the Bank’s new Digital Banking Support Center.

Dodds also introduced Tina Smith as TexasBank’s new Human Resources Director. Smith has worked in human resources for over 25 years, most recently for a medical services company in the metroplex for 16 years, 10 of which she was a manager. She has lived in Brownwood for the last four years and commuted back and forth to Fort Worth during the workweek. When asked what she was most looking forward to about being with TexasBank, Smith said, “I am happy to make the move to Brownwood and get back to the roots of a small-town community. I look forward to being a servant leader to the employees, management teams and executive team at TexasBank”.
“We are excited to have Tina joining the TexasBank team, Dodds said. We look forward to her further growing and developing our HR department and improving upon our employee experience”.
