Dan Burleson, age 66, of Brownwood passed away early Sunday morning, January 5, 2020.

A Celebration of Life for Dan will be held Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. His wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Dan was a charismatic person that everyone found themselves wanting to be around. He always believed that the journey trumped the destination. He was a loyal friend, loving and supportive dad, and was always there to help anyone in need. His “Office” was always warm and welcoming to anyone that wanted to sit and talk awhile. Dan would always give you his honest, unfiltered opinion and accept you just as you were. He was the type of man you could look up to.

Dan is survived by the hundreds of people he personally impacted over the years.

He always said, “Nobody ever had more fun than me.”
