Jason Hatchett, age 41, of Zephyr passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019.
Funeral Services for Jason will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Coggin Ave. Baptist Church with Terry Simmons and Justin Gowin officiating; burial will follow at Elkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Jason was born on November 2, 1978, to Bo, Jr. and Donna (Frizzell) Hatchett, in Brownwood. He was a lifelong resident of Zephyr. He graduated from Zephyr High School in 1997. Jason was the owner of J. Hatchett Cattle Co. and J. Hatchett Trucking Co. He loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, roping, hog hunting with his dogs, or tending to his livestock.
Jason had the most infectious smile and laugh; his personality was larger than life.
Jason is survived by his two daughters, Tanna and Rainie Hatchett of Brock; parents, Bo and Donna Hatchett of Zephyr; brothers Chad Hatchett of Zephyr, Dusty Hatchett and Melissa of Brownwood; grandmother, Marjorie Frizzell of Brownwood; niece, Hyler Hatchett, and nephew, Conner Hatchett. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, A.W. Hatchett Sr. and Willie Hatchett; maternal grandfather, Marvin Frizzell; two cousins, Kim Henderson and Kevin Perry.
