Brownwood PD and Brown County S.O. Report

The following calls for service were responded to recently by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Brownwood Police Department.  These reports were received as of Friday, October 25.

BROWN COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

On October 24, at approximately 12:32 hours, while on uniformed patrol, in a marked patrol unit, Deputy Davis and Deputy Fletcher were dispatched to County Road 237.  This was regarding an in-progress assault family violence report.  The suspect was arrested at the scene for Terroristic Threats/Family Violence, Resisting Search/Arrest or Transport and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Thursday, October 24, at approximately 13:17 hours, Deputy Burke met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center.  This was in reference to a scam report and investigation.

BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORT

On 10/23/2019 at approximately 18:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched 4th Street and Indian Creek Rd for a suspicious call. Brownwood Police made a report for assault family violence.

On 10/23/2019 at approximately 23:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 3rd Street for a call of domestic disturbance. Brownwood Police made a report of criminal mischief and trespass.

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Officer Donahoo and FTO Baker were dispatched to a North Brownwood residence in the 500 block of West Mayes in regard to a domestic disturbance. An investigation and a report were completed.

On Thursday, October 24, 2019 at approximately 08:00 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 1000 block of Crayton Street in reference to theft. A report was generated for this incident.
