The following calls were responded to over the weekend by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
On Saturday, October 5, at about 18:25 hours, a Deputy responded to CR 270. This was in regards to mail being stolen from the mailbox. Deputy Simpson met with a man and woman, the woman stating the man’s social security card was stolen from the mailbox. The man stated he does want to pursue charges.

On October 6, at about 13:37 hours, Deputy Langley arrived at CR 334 in Brownwood. This was in regards to a terroristic threat. The Deputy spoke to a woman who stated her ex-husband has been threatening her over the phone.
