BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: NOVEMBER 7, 2018

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Wednesday, November 7, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. October 31

  • Around 3:30 p.m. citations were issued for the offense of Unrestrained Dog and Unvaccinated Dog after a residents dogs were at large and in the neighbor’s back yard near the 4400 block of Mimosa Street.

November 3

  • Brownwood Police were notified after a counterfeit $50.00 bill was passed at the Triple T Grill by an unknown person. An investigation was initiated and a report was taken.

November 5

  • Brownwood Police responded to the 3500 block of 1st Street for a theft call. An investigation was initiated and a report was taken.
  • Brownwood Police officers made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Hughley. During the traffic stop it was determined that the subject was intoxicated and was then arrested for driving while intoxicated.

November 6

  • At around 10:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to Home Depot, for an assault. After the officer spoke to the complainant, a report was generated and investigation continues.
  • Around 8 p.m., Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Brady Ave for a reckless driver call. Police officers made contact with a suspect that was parked in the roadway who was then arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
