The nominees, pictured here, are participating in “Pajama Day” at BHS. Each day during Homecoming week BHS students have a dress-up theme, culminating with a “Maroon Out” before Friday’s Homecoming game against Abilene Wylie.
Friday’s game has also been designated as the “Gold Game” for Child Cancer Awareness. Local childhood cancer survivors will be introduced on the field and they will present the opposing team with a friendship gift before the game. Fans are encouraged to wear some gold along with their maroon and white to show their support. In addition, the Lionettes will be passing the boot to “kick children’s cancer” during the 3rd quarter.
Voting for the Homecoming Queen will take place later this week with the Queen being crowned as the nominees are honored during halftime.
