Charlotte Ann Millican

CharlotteMillicanFuneral Services for Charlotte Ann Millican, age 70, of Brownwood will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 7, 2010 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Debbie Lake officiating, interment to be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Colony Cemetery in San Saba county, Texas, under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Millican passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 4, 2010 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Charlotte was born February 23, 1940 in San Saba, Tx to Charles and Pearl ‘Cy’ (Storms) McLerran. She married Mike Millican on June 14, 1969 in San Saba, Texas. She worked as a florist owning their own business and then working for Winn Dixie floral department before retiring. Charlotte was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brownwood and regularly attended the First United Methodist Church in San Saba. She was also an active volunteer with Central Texas MHMR and Aldersgate Enrichment Center.  She was devoted to her family and friends, and was anxiously awaiting the births of her two new great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Millican of Brownwood; son, Jon Michael Millican of Austin; daughters, Jill Ann Millican of Brownwood, Patti Owen and husband Linn of San Saba, Chris Maddox and husband Ricky of Cherokee, Tammy Henderson and husband Randy of Cherokee, and Leyla Wagner and husband Scott of Huntington Beach, Ca.; Grandchildren, Will Owen, Justine Owen, Tyler and Kari Owen, Travis Corsi, Tucker Corsi, Coney and Mickey Hanley, Crystal and Jason Mendl, Roddy and Lindsey Maddox, Nicholas Wagner, and Hannah Wagner; Great Grandchildren, Payton and Preston Hanley, Cooper Owen, and Kaden Wright.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Doris Lee Gray, and  grandson Tel Corsi.

The family request that contributions may be made to the Aldersgate Enrichment Center in Early, Texas, P.O. Box 1406 Brownwood, TX 76804-1406.
