Wednesday, January 8th

At 4:41 p.m. Deputy Hopson was patrolling the area of FM 2632 and Flatrock Road when he observed a white male walking on the wrong side of the roadway. The male then evaded from police and was identified later. The incident is still being investigated.

Thursday, January 11th

At 11:32 a.m. Deputy Wyatt was dispatched to an address on Stephen F. Austin Drive in reference to found property. The deputy arrived on scene and met with a witness who reported one of the employees at the location found several road signs in one of the company’s old vehicles.

Friday, January 12th

At 12:33 a.m. Deputy Simpson noticed a dark color Jeep driving on the shoulder of the east bound lane of US 67W. According to the deputy’s report, the Jeep then crossed both east bound lanes going into the median then back to the east bound shoulder. Upon making contact with the driver, identified in the report as John Charles Frausto, it became apparent he was impaired. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were performed on Frausto, who failed all 3 tests and was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
At 11:56 a.m. Deputy Tidwell was dispatched to Choctaw Drive in reference to a scam involving an elderly female. A report was generated for theft.
Deputy Simpson responded to Limerick Drive and Ennis Drive in regards to a reckless driver. A vehicle matching the description was found by Deputy Simpson on Hwy 279 near FM 3021. Upon making contact with the driver, it was discovered he was assaulted by two suspects who were named in the report. Another possible victim was later identified. Neither of the victims wanted to pursue charges. A report was made.
At 4:41 p.m. Deputy Bastardo, was dispatched to Hwy 279, near FM 3021, in reference to an assault.

January 13th

At 10:01 a.m. Deputy Tidwell was dispatched to CR 564 in reference to theft. The complainant advised some custom-made ivory tusks had been stolen by a known suspect. A report was generated.
At 10:33 a.m. Deputy Tidwell was dispatched to Boyett Drive in reference to theft. The deputy met with the complainant, who advised a friend of a previous tenant had stolen a refrigerator and stove from the residence. A suspect was named.
At 3:43 p.m. Deputy Hopson responded to Tipperary for a Burglary of a Habitation report. The incident is still being investigated.
At 6:46 p.m. Deputy Bastardo was dispatched to 7^th Street in Blanket in regards to loose livestock. Upon arrival, contact was made with the owner of the cows, who stated an unknown person had cut the chain which was securing his fenced property containing cows. A report was taken.
At approximately 10:40 p.m. Deputy Rodriguez was driving Northbound near the 12000 block of Highway 183 S. when he attempted to pull a black passenger car over heading Southbound, which was driving 85 mph in a 75 mph zone in Brown County. A pursuit was initiated, which resulted in a wreck in Mills County. The vehicle wrecked into a fence at 2^nd Street and Sherman Street in Mullin. A total amount of 8.5 grams without packaging of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The driver was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention w/Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Possession of Marijuana < 2 oz and Driving While License Invalid w/Previous Conviction. The passenger was arrested for an active warrant out of Travis County and Possession of Marijuana < 2 oz.

January 15th

At 3:20 p.m. Deputy Bastardo, initiated a traffic stop on a maroon Grand Am, on live information from CID Investigator Gover. This was in regards to an occupant of the vehicle having an active warrant and the vehicle was to contain narcotics. During the investigation the driver of the vehicle, Lisa Gross, was in possession of 63 white pills, which were identified as methadone. Lisa Gross was arrested for Poss CS PG1 4g<200g w/Intent to Deliver.
