Brownwood News – According to police reports released Tuesday morning, officers arrested 28 year old Roland Robledo just after 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 14th. After conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1100 block of Duke Street, the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Roland Robledo, exited the vehicle and fled on foot. A brief chase ensued and Robledo was apprehended. Officers found him to be in possession of “a large quantity” of methamphetamine. Roland Robledo was arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention and Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 > = 4G < 200G in a Drug Free Zone. Roland Robledo is currently being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $27,000.

*3:20 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of East Commerce in reference to Drug/Narcotic activity. Officers made contact with the suspect who was arrested for Manufacture/Deliver of a Controlled Substance PG1 > = 1G < 4G, Possession of Marijuana < 2OZ, and Resisting Arrest.
*9:41 a.m. Brownwood Police received a report of a hit and run in the 300 block of N. Main Street.
*3:32 p.m. Brownwood Police received a call for service in reference to potential credit/debit card abuse.
*7:43 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 1300 block of 1st Street for walking on the wrong side of the road. The suspect was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 < 1G in a Drug Free Zone.
Saturday, January 13th
*1:14 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of 2nd Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, a suspect was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury/Family Violence.
*11:10 a.m. Brownwood Police were contacted in reference to a violation of a protective order.
*3:37 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to a theft.
*5:20 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2500 block of W. Main Boulevard in reference to a domestic disturbance.
*9:30 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to an area near Austin and Fisk for a domestic disturbance.
Sunday, January 14th
*6:23 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Oak Street in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. During the investigation of the incident, officers arrested a suspect for Burglary of a Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana > = 2OZ < 4OZ in a Drug Free Zone.
*8:06 p.m. Brownwood Police and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve a warrant in the 700 block of Oak Street. The original suspect was not located, but another male was identified and arrested for a Milam County warrant for Forgery Financial Instrument. The suspect was also charged with Tampering or Fabricating Physical Evidence and Possession of Marijuana < = 2 OZ in a Drug Free Zone.
Monday, January 15th
*2:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street in reference to a theft. A suspect was arrested for outstanding warrants and Theft of Property < $100.
*9:36 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near Cordell and Hendricks Street. During the course of this stop, officers arrested a suspect for Driving While License Invalid.
*10:25 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 4th Street. The suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
