Friday, November 10th
*1:04 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 1st Street. During the course of this stop, officers issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
*6:26 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood residence for burglary of a motor vehicle report.
*11:30 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop at Idlewild Drive and Vine Street. During the course of this stop a female was arrested for possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces, in a Drug Free Zone.
Saturday, November 11th
*12:23 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Dublin for a suspicious person. A 44 year old male was arrested for public intoxication.
*1:00 a.m. Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop in the 3800 block of US 377. During the course of this stop, officers arrested David Figueroa for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or more offense.
*1:46 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1900 block of 4th Street regarding terroristic threats. According to the report, a suspect may have pointed a weapon at complainants. An investigation is ongoing.
*4:06 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue A in reference to a theft.
Sunday, November 12th
*2:41 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of US 377 for a domestic disturbance. Upon arriving, officers spoke with the complainant who stated he was assaulted. Ashley Diaz was arrested for assault causing bodily injury family violence.
*4:50 a.m. Brownwood Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Austin Avenue. During the course of events, officers arrested Rurie Olguin for Driving While Intoxicated and Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.
*11:37 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to 400 block of W. Commerce in reference to a theft. After speaking with witnesses, a 28 year old male was cited for Theft of Property less than $100, Class C Misdemeanor, and was arrested for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, Class B Misdemeanor.
*3:48 p.m. Brownwood Police observed a theft taking place at 401 W. Commerce. Three female subjects were detained and stolen items located. During the inventory of the items stolen and paid for, five mugs were located with fictitious bar codes. All subjects, Melissa Urquia, Sandra Garza, and Patricia Louise Saldana were arrested for Organized Retail Theft greater than or equal to $100 less than $750 Class B Misdemeanor, and Fraudulent Destruction, Removal, Concealment of Writing Class A Misdemeanor.
During the search incident to arrest subjects were found with Pills, Methamphetamine, Meth pipe, and Marijuana. Saldana was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 less than 1 gram, State Jail Felony, for the Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, Class B Misdemeanor, for the Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Class C Misdemeanor, for the Meth pipe.
Urquia was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG3 less than 28G, Class A Misdemeanor for hydrocodone bitartrate 325 mg/ 7.5 mg, and Possession of Controlled Substance PG3 less than 28G, Class A Misdemeanor for the Acetaminophen/codeine 300 mg/ 60 mg weighing 1.0g.
*7:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 1st Street in reference to a citizen’s dispute.
