Press Release – The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the America’s Small Business Development Center are offering a business workshop for Microsoft Excel on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce.

This workshop is geared for those new to Microsoft Excel or those who want to freshen up their skills. The workshop will begin with the ABC’s of the spreadsheet program and progress to learn some of the advanced features to make financial tasks less time-consuming. At this hands-on interactive workshop (BYOL – Bring Your Own Laptop), attendees will learn how to create, edit, format and print spreadsheets that focus on the business owner’s needs. Some of the features being taught will include, information entry (data, text), cut, copy, paste, paste special, formatting (cells, columns, rows), cell references (general, absolute), basic formulas (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), naming sheet tabs, printing challenges (title, headers, footers, margins), spreadsheet templates (balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow report, loan amortization) and more.
There is no cost for Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce members. Non-member fee is $15. Attendees need to bring their own laptop and may bring a lunch.
