Raymond Oscar Burnett, Sr.

Memorial Service for Raymond Oscar Burnett, Sr., age 79, of Brownwood will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Schlutz officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Raymond, Sr. passed from this life to the next on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at a local nursing home. He was born on September 1, 1937, to Roy and Syble (Wells) Burnett in San Angelo, Texas. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.

Raymond is survived by his children, Tammy Burnett Baker, Raymond Burnett, Jr. and wife Sandra, Sandra Orme, Mari Anne Ross, and Michael Burnett; numerous grandchildren and great-children; several nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy G. Burnett; mother, Syble Clark and step-father, Ottis Clark; two brothers, Delbert Burnett and William Burnett; and one sister, Bessie Cooper.
