Brownwood News – Girls Scouts of Central Texas (GSCTX) is now taking nominations for 2017 Women of Distinction. These community advocates, innovators and leaders will be honored at the Women of Distinction celebration on September 21, 2017.
GSCTX honors local leaders who are champions for social change. These women are fearless and dedicated to community education, entrepreneurial endeavors and ground-breaking change. The impact that they have on the Brownwood and the surrounding communities is meaningful for everyone involved. Nominations for this award will be accepted until May 17, 2017. Nominations forms are available at the Girl Scout office at 901 Avenue B, Brownwood, or online at www.gsctx.org.
GSCTX is also accepting nominations to honor a Distinguished Workplace, which exemplifies the Girl Scout Promise and provides leadership and growth opportunities to its female employees.
