Family Services Center finished up their annual “100 Holes” fundraiser on Monday, May 9th, raising donations and pledges totaling $19,142.00. Volunteers took to the challenge to take to the greens at either the Hideout or the Brownwood Country Club and complete 100 holes of golf in one day. The event took place on two days, Friday, April 22 and Monday, May 9th.
The fundraiser is very close to meeting its original goal of raising $21,000. Teams were challenged to raise $1,000. More than $19,000 has been raised, with some teams still working to bring in their pledges to meet the needs of FSC. Donations and pledges are still being accepted, for more information contact Jill Evans at 325-646-5939.
