Meeting of the Board of Directors

Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 4:00 PM

Water District Office   *   501 East Baker   *   Brownwood, Texas

To Discuss, Consider, Advise and\or Take Formal Action in the Following Items:

1.            Call to Order;

2.            Pledge of Allegiance;

3.            Invocation;

4.            Approval of Minutes of meetings held in April 2016;

5.            Approval of claims and accounts report;

6.            Approval of investment and financial reports;

7.            Citizens Presentations: Any citizen desiring to address the Board of Directors regarding a matter not included on agenda may do so at this time.  The Board of Directors may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item.  To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Directors respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Board, each person submit a citizen’s presentation form located at the entrance lobby, stating your name, address and topic of presentation.  All presentations are limited to five (5) minutes time limit;

8.            District’s Legal Counsel shall administer Oath of Office to Directors elected by Resolution and Certification of Unopposed Candidate, John W. Hays, Dennis W. Graham, and Jimmy C. Jones;

9.            Election of Board Officers;

10.          Announce Committee Assignments;

11.          Date and time of Board meetings;

12.          Discuss and take necessary action regarding wake boats on Lake Brownwood;

13.          Hear update from Collier Consulting regarding the Trinity project;

14.          Approval of grant of right of way to the City of Early at 811 Early Blvd, Early, Texas:

15.          Discuss and approve sale of lots D, D1 & D2 at Spillway Subdivision to current lessees, James Wilcox and wife, Brenda Wilcox, for appraised value;

16.          Update regarding 4H Center at Lake Brownwood;

17.          Hear General Manager report regarding current events, projects and lake conditions;

18.          Adjournment.
