The City of Brownwood is proud to announce the release of a new city web site, http://brownwoodtexas.gov. As of September 1, the former website has been removed and all web traffic is re?directed to the new site.
The new city website has improved design, navigation and functionality for viewers. The purpose of the website is to provide a user?friendly, attractive space that provides accurate information and increased digital interaction with the City. By going to http://brownwoodtexas.gov, users land on a portal page that serves as a gateway to virtually explore Brownwood.
On the portal are links to the City of Brownwood, Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Brownwood Economic Development Corporation, Brownwood ISD and more. The new city website, showcases fully redesigned menus, highlights, calendars and images. Each Board and Commission has sections for agendas, minutes and calendars. Quick links, Frequently Asked Questions and a “How do I” section provide quick and easy access to information residents typically are looking for.
Online bill pay is still available. Also online are multiple forms for brush and oversized item pick?up, reporting a pothole or problems with a street, permit applications and more. Multiple social media platforms are available including Code Red, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. Citizens may also subscribe for alerts through the “Stay Informed” feature.
