During a Tuesday afternoon meeting of the Brown County Elections Commission, members retired into executive session to deliberate the evaluation, duties or dismissal of Brown County Election Administrator Suzy Young.

The commission, by a 4-0 vote, decided to remove Suzanne “Suzy” Renee Young from her position as administrator.

On November 5, 2014, Young was arrested for driving while intoxicated after an accident near the Vine Street underpass. Young was travelling northbound when her Chevy Tahoe crossed into the southbound lane, striking a portion of the underpass.

After the accident, Young said that although she had prescription medication in her system, the accident was a result of exhaustion.
