Funeral Services for George Jordan, age 56, of Brownwood will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday September  2, 2009 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Tony King officiating, interment to follow in Greenleaf Cemetery under the directions of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Jordan passed away Sunday August 30, 2009 in Brownwood.

George was born April 11, 1953 in Germany to Roy and Erna (Betz) Jordan. He worked as a LVN and was employed by Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

George is survived by his wife, Liz Jordan of Brownwood; children, Todd Jordan, Brandon Jordan and wife Dee, Angela Jordan, Cody Sledge, Tyler Sledge and Tayler Reeves; his  father, Roy Jordan; four sisters, Gale Galle, Caroline Russell, Janet Waltz, and Jacqueline Jordan; a brother, Randall Jordan; grandchildren, Desirae, Chloe, Breanna, Annalyse, Trinity, and Garrett.

He was preceded in death by his mother Erna Jordan.
