Well, I don’t know about the rest of you people but I kind of like the new conference. Georgia wins over Texas 22 to 19 in overtime in the SEC Championship game. A heck of a ballgame and a heck of a performance by the two clubs. I mean top to bottom, offense, defense, kicking game – 22 to 19 the final score in overtime and Georgia wins it.
They had two loses this year, I can’t remember one of them and one of them was somebody else. Texas was not one of them. Texas plays Georgia twice and they lose twice.
Now, what’s going to happen and that’s a question that will be solved tomorrow. The committee, I don’t know, in the last week I thought they were a little shady on the upside. In other words some loses cost people a lot more than some wins these people had. That remains to be seen.
Where is Texas going to end up? Well, they’re not going to be Number 1! They will, I don’t think they’ll be in the top five. I’m not positive they’re going to be in the top ten and they may fall out of the top ten, but they’ll make the playoffs. Unfortunately, they’ll have to win a lot of football games that otherwise they didn’t have to. They didn’t have to, but they enjoyed it, I think. If you’re a football fan you enjoyed the game. It was just a hard hitting ballgame.
Texas loses 22 to 19. They may have to play an extra game and Georgia will finish in the top four. The top four all get buys. Oregon number one. Number two, three, four – I don’t know but I hope they enjoy their rest. Texas loses but they’ll play again. The final, 22 to 19 in overtime.
Until next time, so long everybody.
