It turned out to be a ten point game but I think it was the best ballgame I’ve ever seen a team play. I’m talking about the Texas vs Texas A&M game. I’m telling you A&M is a very good team. I’m a Texas fan and I make no bones about it, but I said at the beginning of the ballgame that this is the hardest game that they’ve played. Their four defensive linemen are just unbelievable. I thought they were downright good and they really are. Their four defensive line were maybe as good as I’ve ever seen as they played Saturday night. They played almost perfect. They were very, very good and I kept thinking this is going to fall apart. They were just a flawless football team and they may have been as good as I’ve ever seen.
Can they win the National Championship? Well, I don’t know. I think so, but I certainly wouldn’t bet money on it. This is all new this year. If they play like they did Saturday night, yeah, they could win it. They were absolutely a beautiful football team in action Saturday night. To win the National Championship, I think I have this much figured out. They will have to play flawless – nah I’m kidding – you don’t play flawless. You get pushed around in this league and you have to survive, which they have done so far – so far. They have a team that is good, but perfect, no. Their quarterback isn’t perfect and even the one that never plays doesn’t come out perfect, but they are good. I mean plenty good! If they play beyond what they are, they could flat out win it.
Texas against Georgia. That’s what it is – Texas against Georgia. Texas has one loss and that loss was a loss to Georgia. Is Texas better than Georgia? If Texas loses they are in and if they win, they are in.
Until next time, so long everybody.
