TOLAR – Coming off their first District 8-3A volleyball victory of the season, the Early Lady Horns were unable to start a win streak as Tolar chalked up a 25-12, 25-18, 25-15 victory Tuesday night.
The Lady Horns (12-15, 1-5) received five kills each from Aubrie DeVillier, Ellie Shea and Tyley Simmons, two apiece from Gabby Benson and Karley Smith, and one each from Jensyn Rasor, Grey Pruett and Cassidy Frerichs.
Pruett finished with 13 assists, Frerichs contributed six and Shea was credited with one.
Shea and DeVillier served the aces for Early.
Benson led the Lady Horns with 16 digs trailed by DeVillier with 15, Pruett with 12, Frerichs with eight, Shea with six, Rasor with four, Simmons with three, and Smith and Aliyah Harlan with two each.
At the net, Simmons logged a pair of blocks while Rasor, Pruett, DeVillier and Shea each tallied one.
Early takes the court again at 4 p.m. Friday as it welcomes Dublin.
