The Brownwood Lady Lions improved to 12-12 on the season with a straight-set non-district home victory over the Brady Lady Bulldogs, 25-13, 25-15, 25-13, Friday at Warren Gym.
On the offensive end, Aubrie Felux led the attack with 11 kills trailed by five from Aniah Hines, two each from Demahya Hooker and Inylah Hall, and one apiece by Jentry Coalson, Laine Johnson, and Miranda Northcutt.
Icess Hall dished out 13 assists with four coming from Coalson, three from Johnson, and one from Hines.
Felux tallied six aces followed by one each from Hines, Johnson, Icess Hall, Jakayla Peek and Maddi Scott.
Defensively, Felux also led the way with six digs followed by three from Johnson, two apiece from Coalson, Sara Stubblefield and Inylah Hall, and one each from Scott, Northcutt, Hooker, Icess Hall and Peyton Pena.
Felux, Roberts and Northcutt each finished with one block.
The Lady Lions are back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday as they host Granbury NCTA, then welcome Abilene Cooper at 5 p.m. next Friday in their final matches prior to the District 6-4A opener Sept. 27 at Brock.
