James Crow, an alumnus of Brownwood High School and student at Howard Payne University, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Leukemia is cancer of the white blood cells and a rampant cause of death across the country.
In honor of James Crow’s fight against Leukemia, the Brownwood HOSA chapter will be hosting a movie night on Saturday, December 13th, at Gordon Wood Stadium, starting at 6:00 p.m.
“The movie will be Frozen, and there will be plenty of hot chocolate to go around,” said BHS Health Science teacher, Annalyn Deen.
“Part of the proceeds will go to James Crow to help with his fight against Leukemia, and the remainder of the proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help others in their fight. Come out to watch Frozen, eat some snacks, support our cause, and help us to ‘freeze’ Leukemia in its tracks.”
