The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Early Chamber of Commerce and the Brown County Republican Women’s Club will host a joint luncheon on Friday, December 12th featuring state Representative Jim Keffer.
Representative Keffer will give an overview of the upcoming state legislative session.
The luncheon will be held at the Brownwood Country Club and costs $12 for the buffet lunch. The buffet opens at 11:30 AM and the program will begin at noon.
Attendees are asked to bring a donation (cash or toy) for the area Toys for Kids program.
In 1997, Keffer became the first Republican to ever represent District 60 and has won reelections ever since.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Energy Resources. He also serves on the House Natural Resources Committee, Redistricting Committee and Texas House Republican Caucus.
