The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding a felony case recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

• Jeremy Kristofer Deaton pled guilty to the felony offense of Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Deaton pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Attempted Sexual Performance by a Child and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
