Need to Feed’s Spring Event for the Homeless will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20 in the Salvation Army parking lot, located at 403 Lakeway Drive in Brownwood.

According to its official website: “Need To Feed Corp. was birthed by life experiences, prayers and a passion for helping people who feel invisible, unloved and undeserving. NEED TO FEED! Not only feeds the homeless hot meals and nonperishable food items; we supply homeless and transitioning homeless with things they need to help them sustain. Renewing spirits and showing genuine love is our goal. Need to Feed Corp has given inspiration to people, seeking a way off of the streets. We have now surpassed our first year as a nonprofit organization and have obtained our 501c3. We are currently serving the homeless every month in Downtown Dallas, Texas and Downtown Atlanta, Georgia. We hope to obtain more of a permanent presence for the homeless. With your generous contributions, via monetary, time, etc… we will come closer to feeding, meeting the needs, and rehabilitating the homeless across our city, state, and eventually across our country.”

For more information, contact North Lake Community Church at 325-200-3445 or 915-276-7452, visit need-to-feed.com or email [email protected].
