- On Wednesday, January 31, at approximately 12:43 p.m., Deputy Thomas Beloat, with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, was dispatched to Bangs Cemetery, located at the 400 block of Barnes Road, regarding a body being found. After further investigation, the remains belong to a dog of the family.
- On Wednesday, January 31, at 6:11 p.m., Sgt Byron Langley, spoke by phone, to a victim who stated a suspect had taken her Social Security Card, and her TX Driver’s License from her, and is refusing to return them to her.
- On Friday, February 2, Deputy John Geis, was dispatched to CR 215 Brownwood TX, 76801, in regard to stolen property. A victim claimed that someone came onto his property, and stole 4 propane tanks, as well as hoses and nozzles. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
