GEORGETOWN – The Brownwood Lions earned their first soccer victory of the season Saturday morning, knocking off Marlin, 4-0, in their final game at the Georgetown tournament.
Four different players scored for the Lions (1-2-1), as Isaac Morales first lit up the scoreboard with an assist from Caden Carnes. Peter Salazar then scored unassisted ahead of a Raven Prado goal from Carnes. River Prado later capped the scoring with an assist from Raven Prado.
The Lions are off until 7 p.m. Friday when they host Snyder in their home opener.
