Throughout the week-long early voting period, a total of 1,173 registered voters cast their ballots.  This included 1156 Republicans and 17 Democrats.   According to Larry Franks, Brown County assistant elections administrator, these numbers represented about 75% of the 2012 runoff (1,546 voters), and for the Democrats, 74% (23) after four days of early voting.

For Primary Runoff Election Day on Tuesday, May 27, all voting will be held at the Adams Street Community Center (511 E Adams Street, Brownwood, TX) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

County offices being decided in this Republican primary runoff include District Clerk between Cheryl Jones and Brenda Arp; Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 between Bob Wall and Mike Holder; and Constable, Precinct 3 between CT Ham and Roy Parrack.  The winners of each of these seats do not have opponents in the November election.
