October is National Principals Month, and Brownwood ISD (BISD) is proud to recognize each of our principals for their hard work and continued dedication to the success of students in BISD schools.
Jeanette Lancaster is the Woodland Heights Elementary principal. She joined BISD as a third grade teacher at Woodland Heights in 2014. The following year she began serving as the school counselor at Northwest Elementary. She returned to Woodland Heights as an assistant principal 2018 and was promoted to her current position as principal in 2019. This is her tenth year with BISD. Ms. Lancaster earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University and holds master’s degrees in both Educational Administration and School Counseling from Lubbock Christian University. She is a state certified teacher, counselor, and principal. With her background, education, and experience, Ms. Lancaster continues to bring a wealth of knowledge to her role as principal. Her leadership and commitment continue to elevate the campus as a positive welcoming environment for parents and the community to celebrate Woodland Heights students and their achievements.
BISD is thankful to have Ms. Lancaster serving as our Woodland Heights Elementary principal, and we congratulate her on being recognized during National Principals Month!
