The Brownwood Education Foundation will host its annual Lion’s Pride Fundraiser at the Lyric Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Comedian/magician/ventriloquist Andy Gross will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $100. The theme of the BEF fundraiser is 1883 in honor of the 140th anniversary of the Brownwood Independent School District.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and prior to the show drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by The Turtle, and there will be a live jazz band performing as well. 

The Brownwood Education Foundation throughout the year raises funds that go toward STEM grants for classrooms, scholarships for students, and awards for teachers and staff members of the school district.
