RANGER – The Bangs Lady Dragons wrapped up the first half of District 6-2A volleyball action alone in third place following a 25-19, 25-9, 25-21 road victory over Ranger Tuesday night.
Bangs served 19 aces in the victory, led by five from Cloey Petty, four apiece from Neeley Bradley and Julianna Ethridge, three from Raylee Hutchins, two from Jadyn Miller and one from Ava Boren.
Miller also notched eight kills trailed by Bradley with seven, Boren with two and Petty and Emily Baker with one apiece.
Bradley also logged seven assists followed by Boren with four, Joey Newton with three, Miller with two and Kasey Solis with one.
Defensively, Miller registered 10 digs along with Newton with eight, Bradley with six, Ethridge and Petty with five each, Boren with three, and Hutchins with a pair.
Bangs did not record a block.
The Lady Dragons (13-11, 2-2) are off until Tuesday when they host Albany at 6 p.m.
