The Brown County Sheriff’s Office issued the following press release Monday afternoon:

On Friday, July 14, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Division and Brown County SWAT Team executed a search and arrest warrant on James Howard Allen at a residence on CR 469 in Brown County after a lengthy investigation.

Allen was the only occupant of the residence and found to be in possession of more than 6 oz methamphetamine.

Allen was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Brown County Jail, where he was booked in for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 >=4g < 200g.

According to jail records, bond for Howard, 62, is set at $50,000.
