Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the BROWN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT will convene on the 3rd day of February, 2014, at 9:00 A. M., in the Brown County Commissioners Courtroom:

AGENDA

A.  Opening Prayer
B.  Reading and approval of Minutes
C.  Recognition of Visitors
D.  Matter of New Business to be presented to the Court for its consideration and action as appropriate. Items may not be taken in the order that they are listed.

1.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;

2.  Suzy Young – Consideration and possible approval of early voting and election day signs;

3.  Suzy Young – Consideration and possible approval and appointment of the supplemental list of election judges for year 2014;

4.  Chris Weber & Scott Drake, Dam Volunteer Fire Department – Presentation regarding Fire Academy;

5.  Chris Weber & Scott Drake, Dam Volunteer Fire Department – Consideration and possible approval of burning permits associated with Fire Academy;

6.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Application to install communication line, CR 478;

7.  Gary Worley, Pct 1 – Consideration and possible approval of equipment purchase;

8.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Discussion and possible approval regarding the creation of one or more County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone (CETRZ), as authorized by law, to promote one or more infrastructure projects to be located within the County to be funded by the CERTZ including the potential boundaries and requirements of a County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone (CETRZ), as authorized §222.1071 of the Texas Transportation Code

9.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Discussion and possible approval regarding the SB 1747 Prioritized Project List for the County Transportation Infrastructure Fund Grant Program.

10.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Discussion and consideration of accepting county road report(s) for filing in the minutes of the Commissioners Court.

11.  Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of Advisory Board of County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone;

12.  Nina Cox – Open and review bids for electricity;

13.  Nina Cox – Consideration and possible approval of electricity proposals;

E.  Reports
F.  Consideration and Approval of bills
G.  Approval of Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report
H.  Adjournment or recess;
