BISD Announces End-of-Year Employee Awards

END-OF-YEAR EMPLOYEE AWARDS

Brownwood ISD (BISD) has announced its 2022-2023 End-of-Year Employee Awards. The awards are sponsored by the Brownwood Education Foundation (BEF) and include service awards, retiree recognitions, employees of the year, teachers of the year from each campus, as well as the BISD regional teacher of the year nominees.

DISTRICT TEACHERS OF THE YEAR

On Thursday, June 1, BISD announced Northwest Elementary teacher Linda Cooper (pictured below on the right) as the Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Brownwood High School teacher Derrick Stacks (pictured below on the left) as the Secondary Teacher of the Year! These teachers will move on to represent BISD as regional teacher of the year nominees.
