- On Wednesday, May 24, at approximately 1:13 p.m., Sgt. Andre Smoot was dispatched to Dillard Drive for a dispute. Once on scene, all parties were interviewed, and it was determined the victim was slapped in the face by his mother. Parties were separated, pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed.
- On Tuesday, May 23, Deputy Saydie Bradley spoke with a complaint in regard to an illegal dumping in the 8600 block of County Road 355, Blanket. Several tires, and other debris, had been dumped and the complainant was unsure of what to do. Bradley responded to the location where photos were taken, and a report was made.
- On Tuesday, May 23, Deputy Ira Smith was dispatched to County Road 112, for a theft call. Upon arrival, Deputy Smith was advised by a victim his boat had been stolen from his residence. Information was gathered, and a report was taken.
- On Tuesday, May 23, Sgt. Chris Angel met with an invidiual in reference to the theft of a Ridgid SR-20 Pipe Locator. A male subject had made contact with Black Plumbing stating he had the pipe locator and would return it for a small reward. After asking the male to return the pipe locator, the male refused to return it without a reward. The phone number was traced and a suspect was located and found to be in possession of the pipe locator. The pipe locator and case were recovered and returned to Black Plumbing. Charges are pending.
- On Tuesday, May 23, at approximately 2:31 p.m., Deputy Francisco Valencia was dispatched to speak with a subject, by phone call, regarding a scam. The subject stated they wanted to rent a home found on Facebook Marketplace. The subject sent money to the said renter and later found out it was a scam. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Tuesday, May 23, Deputy Ira Smith was dispatched to FM 2126 for a death investigation. Upon arrival, Deputy Smith was informed by EMS that the deceased person was in the residence. The deceased was discovered in her bed, deceased from natural caus
- On Sunday, May 21, at 6:58 a.m., Deputy Ricky Herring was dispatched to CR 546. This was in reference to a dog complaint. Upon arrival, information was gathered, and a report was taken. Citations were issued at a later date, after locating the owner of the dogs, for Dogs Not Vaccinated. A Dangerous Dog report, along with Dog Prohibited from Running at Large was done, pending locating dog owner.
